Exmouth in Bloom gave illustrated talks to three different local groups on three consecutive days this month. Exmouth Ladies Probus, Littlemead Fellowship and the U3A Gardening club, were all fascinated to hear a Powerpoint presentation given by Marion.
Gerry, Elaine, Jenny and Carol manned the pop-up shop selling not only our jams and chutneys (that Sharon had given the Xmas treatment to, with colourful tops and gift tags), calendars, notecards, bags and teddy clothes but also some new seasonal gift ideas……tree decorations and painted slate pictures. The hospitality and welcome that we were given was wonderful and we sincerely thank all the groups for their interest, generosity and support. We raised nearly £400 towards next year’s planting, over the three days. Excellent!
