The seafront end of Alexandra Terrace has undergone enormous changes in the past 18 months with the Environment Agency Flood Defence Scheme gates and the re-designing of the road layout there. In August 2021 Exmouth in Bloom planted the newly created long bed with a lovely variety of sustainable plants, chosen for all year round colour and interest by Graham Bell. These are thriving as you can see below. 
Today a team planted the ‘original’ border there with more of the same plants. This will pull the planting in this area together and be more impactful. The planters on the roadside were also sustainably planted and we hope these too will thrive in this very exposed area just across from the beach.
