Sometimes you might as well look at a traditional piece of seaweed hanging on a fence to forecast the weather here accurately!
The Met Office and all its technology, is no more than 10 miles up river from Exmouth, and their forecast was for sunshine until midday today, so the workparty ( to give the grasses and dogwoods in the Dinosaur Paddocks some attention), was certainly unprepared for RAIN (except …..can you spot Gerry, who always has her brolly in her work bag of course! )
We still have some work to finish off there at the coming weekend’s workparty, but we have made inroads with the removal of bottles, glasses and cans that were hiding in the long grass and hundreds of Sycamore seedlings, so the borders are already looking tidier.
