07.05.22: Blue sky day for our first Table Top Sale of the year.

The sun shone and the sky was cloudless blue for the first Table Top Sale of the year at Sharon’s house. Sharon has grown on hundreds of Cosmos and bedding Geraniums this year and her Tomato plants and  Carnation cuttings are all thriving and ready to sell. Linda over-wintered about 100 pelagoniums  from the Wavy bed and we were donated a lot of plants to sell on the day.   The Craft and Preserves stalls were busy and customers from the local community flooded in to pick up bargains. At the end of the day we made an incredible £941.22,  so a huge ‘thank you’ to our hostess Sharon, all the volunteers who helped in any way and everyone who came to support the fundraiser. We are on track now for covering the cost of the four new Amberol reservoir tiered planters due for delivery this month!

Bertie Bloomer (and Richard L.)  was there to welcome everyone!

The Craft stall was all laid out ready.
