The Spring Coffee Morning and stall at Littlemead Methodist Church was buzzing with customers. The warm sunshine had obviously brought friends out to meet for a cuppa and a chat. There were lots of yummy cakes and treats and Mayor Steve Gazzard and Town Crier Roger Bourgein encouraged everyone to buy tickets for our beautiful Heirloom Quilt. The stall had lots of new craft items as well as a good selection of bedding plants that Sharon has grown on, including ever-popular Cosmos, Pelagoniums, and Tomatoes. Donations of herbs and sunflowers were also quick sellers. A fantastic total of £251 was raised, which included a raffle and donations for cakes and coffee.
Our thanks go to all the volunteers who came to help with setting up and to those who served on stalls and of course thank you to everyone who came to support the event.
