Since the damage to the two trees in the Sensory Garden on the seafront, we have been fortunate and most grateful for the donation of several trees as replacements. Graham and Mike have planted the White Birch, and an Apple tree, generously donated by Kings Garden and Leisure and Greenfingers Garden Centre respectively. Many thanks also go to local resident, Tracey Oates, who donated a stiking Conifer sempervirons, that had outgrown its pot, to rehome. This will be an added attraction to the garden. The wildflower borders under the mural and along the sea wall side, are coming along well now and all is beginning to look very bright and colourful with flowering trees, and splashes of purple Stocks, Honesty and self set orange and red Poppies. Everyone is invited to go and sit quietly and re-charge for a while in the lovely surroundings there.
