We are sad and angry to tell you that our iconic Swan display was vandalised on Sunday night. The head had been broken off but was fortunately found on Monday morning in a neighbouring street by one of Exmouth in Bloom’s supporters, who lives opposite to the display. He had woken up to see the damage, so had gone out to search for the head. We are heartened and grateful for the wonderful offers of help to repair the swan from local people who work with fibreglass and you can be assured that the display will soon be mended and Sammy Swan even stronger and back to his former glory.
