31.03.22 Dino Paddock Dogwoods and Grasses get the chop!

The Dinosaur Paddocks in the Strand have quite a number of Dogwood shrubs that are set in amongst and getting swallowed up by Phormiums and grasses there. Today in bitter winds but bright sunshine, a team of 10 led by Peter, tackled pruning everything back. It was a bigger job than we had anticipated as it soon became clear that the Grasses, Stipas and Miscanthus also needed cutting back to allow for fresh growth to come through. Although we still have a lot to do and we need at least one more work party to finish the job off, we hope you will be impressed as to the inroads we have made in this area.

Incidentally the Blue IKEA bags system is working well!
