This wonderful Echium is coming into flower again. In 2018, just as it was at its best ‘The Beast from the East’ hit us with such cold temperatures that the flowers and foliage died before our very eyes. The plant has been recovering since, but we are crossing our fingers that the cold spell forecast from today, does not last long and deprive us ( and the bees ) of this beauty again.
