How time flies….. and another beautiful day for September’s mid-month gardening work party for 18 volunteers including our latest recruit Sue. We had a number of jobs lined up so several teams were needed: the installation of new sponsors’ signs for Palm and The Clinic, deadheading and weeding the Station Welcome Area and some rehoming of plants and sweeping up of falling leaves in the Strand. It’s astounding how a spot of edging up and tidying can make a huge difference to the look of a place.
Great work from everyone today and a well deserved cuppa at the end!
