The wild flower patch by the Imperial Road Car Park has been a picture this year, but got very tall and top heavy, partly due to the shady position of the border. So after a summer storm with strong winds and heavy rain it had to be supported with stakes and string. The flowers have now set seed and so Les, Jacqui and Marion tackled the cutting down and gave the area a tidy. (We have saved some seed to add to the Marine Way bank but may need to source a shorter wild flower mix for next year .) Another good job done.
