A huge thank you to the 22 wonderful folks who turned out on the last Sunday of the month to keep Exmouth looking fabulous. In what usually takes us two sessions, we were most definitely like a plague of locusts and covered everything that was outstanding right across the town. Weeding, edging, cutting back, (to reveal a hidden flower tower), dead-heading, litter picking……you name it, we did it.
A special welcome to Valerie who contacted us, to volunteer, via our Facebook page and came to her first workparty today. It was a bit of a baptism of fire but she got stuck in with the team straight away.
We worked our way from the Wavy bed to the Waterwheel in under two hours. What an achievement!
