The Over the Garden Fence event with Hayley Watson and Isolation Community Creations was great fun. Over 40 children and their parents came along to the Sensory Garden on the sea front to paint wooden cut- outs of sunflowers, critters and insects, which will eventually become part of a mural near Exmouth Station.
Many thanks to Leanne at Tesco for providing Drinks and snacks and Ben at Build Base for the donation of paint. Thanks also go to Gillie Newcombe from Exmouth Art Group for her paint contribution and to our Volunteers who helped keep paint on the plates, brushes and the wooden shapes!!!
The Town Crier and Mayor, along with his consort Diane, had a lovely time joining in with painting and encouraging the children. We now have some very unique and colourful animals which will brighten everyone’s day when they are installed over the next few months.
