Taking advantage of the weather it was decided, over coffee this morning, to make a start on painting the planters in the seating area outside Exmouth Rubgy Club, that overlook the Estuary and car park this afternoon. We will need to give the planters another coat of paint yet and the bench will be treated with a preservative, but the groundwork to clear the weeds in this area has been done and we have sprinkled some pollinator friendly seeds in the soil behind the bench which we hope, in time, will give the whole area a bit of a lift. We also plan to put some taller plants in the planters so they can be seen more easily.
