23.03.25: End of March workparty in the sunshine

Earlier in the week, according to the Met Office it was due to rain today, but this morning the seaweed was dry and  it was  gorgeously sunny and warm for the workparty! Twelve, plus Evelyn were busy weeding  Sow thistles  and Plantain from the wild flower borders. Bill, Rich and Les did a spot of edging up as well.

We also planted a selection of  colourful perennials  along with some Convolvulus Silverbush and some home grown Agapanthus under the mural, with the idea that they will be able to provide some  support and interest  when the wildflowers have finished and we are waiting for them to set seed and again when we’ve cut them back for the Winter months.  Thank you to all.

Super work today  as always Blue Team.
