Eight Exmouth in Bloom Committee members attended the South West in Bloom Spring Seminar and Pride in Parks Awards.
Chairman of S.W. in Bloom, Jon Wheatley was congratulated on his RHS Victoria Medal of Honour and opened the seminar with a fascinating and colourful talk about his visit to Mexico City….. the City of Flowers. This was followed by Dr Catherine MacDonald and Mark Gregory talking about Planting Design and the award winning Chelsea Show Gardens they have created.
Exmouth…. the Town of Flowers!….. did exceptionally well in the The Pride in Parks awards with Manor Gardens, Phear Park and Pavilion Gardens all gaining 5 stars.
Well done to all of the EDDC Grounds teams who have worked so hard to achieve these top awards.
