16.05.23: A spot of painting and sowing in the Sensory Garden

A spot of wild flower sowing this morning in the Sensory Garden long borders to try to extend the flowering period into August and Gillie came to paint flowers on the slate seating.

We had only just packed up to leave when a local play group arrived  to enjoy the colours and shapes everywhere. They took turns to use their ‘Sherlock Holmes’ style magnifying glasses to look closely at the flowers and spotted lots of bumble bees buzzing around.   Great fun!
