Our first Table top Sale of the year last week, was at Sharon’s house…..a gorgeous venue overlooking the Exe Estuary. The sun shone and there was a lovely community atmosphere with lots of neighbours, locals, our volunteers and ‘Friends’ dropping by to donate or buy plants, cakes, preserves and the first of our 2024 calendars.
It was good to see Mayor Steve Gazzard and one of our original ‘Friends’ David Brock, pop by to support us too.
Big thanks to all came and especially those who helped set up, man the stall and tidy up at the end and to Sharon, our hostess and Jean who plied us workers with cups of coffee, tea and cake.
With a last minute donation an astonishing £1000.63 was raised today.
What a great day!
