What a joy and privilege today to help out in Manor Gardens with some weeding and tidying. To be honest it’s not one of our usual workparty venues but the gardeners have been under pressure and short staffed so we offered a helping hand. The gardens are looking wonderful right now but we fear that all of the wild flowers will be over before Judging in late July. So enjoy this moment in time.
Thank you to all 17 volunteers who came to help today and good luck to EDDC Operations Manager Tom Wood who is leaving his post this week.
