Brilliant work today from 9 ‘Bloomers’ who joined local MP. Simon Jupp, Town Councillors, Litter Blitzers, Plastic Free Exmouth, Streetscene and many other volunteers for the Big Autumn Clean Up.
Organised by Liz Oram from the Town Team this ‘annual’ event has not taken place for nearly 2 years. Exmouth in Bloom was designated The Magnolia Shopping Centre. A litter pick was done there by Councillor Brian Bailey and his granddaughters then our team moved in and made a good start on the nooks and crannies, brushing under seating, weeding the pavers, washing shop facias.and scrubbing graffiti from the telephone box.
Still some areas to complete but the hard work paid off and in 2 hours we made a big difference.
