We were alerted to some damage to the beautiful, vibrant orange begonias in the RNLI tribute boat near the Station this morning.
On investigation it appears that someone may have decided to stand in the boat. About 8 of the plants had been crushed or had snapped off at the base, leaving two gaping holes in amongst the flowers.
However Barbara and Marion have manage to move and replant the remaining plants to pretty much cover the gaps, so the display looks fine again. In fact its hard to see where the original damage was thank goodness!
Displays everywhere beginning to look Autumnal all of a sudden!
