Caught in the act!
Liz and Roger were ‘fishing’ out blanket weed from the Waterwheel pond on Friday and what a great job they did. The surface duckweed was hiding a mound of the blanket weed which thrives in warm sunny conditions and will choke the life in the pond if left. They lifted curtains of the weed out onto the wall to allow ‘critters’ to crawl back in. A few hours later and the pond was restored. Thank you Liz and Rog for doing this much needed job.
