All Exmouth in Bloom volunteers were invited to a Cream Tea today to thank them for their incredible work and dedication throughout the past year. It was a lovely occasion enjoyed by all who came. The scones were all home made by Committee members Bill and Carol and there was a choice of 3 home jams all made by our volunteers ( all also available to buy! ) to go on the clotted cream. Chairman Gerry thanked everyone for being part of the EiB team. Marion had made two impressive films to show, one of South West in Bloom Judging Day 2022 and the other showing the differences Exmouth in Bloom has made in the past few years.
We are looking forward with nervous anticpation to October 13th when we will find out if we have achieved a Britain in Bloom GOLD again.
Following the tea, The Mayor, Steve Gazzard, introduced by the Town Crier, had huge appreciation and praise for Exmouth in Bloom and spoke about the important role that the group plays, working with the Town, District and County Councils to make Exmouth the wonderful place it is both to live in and visit.
