Liz, Marion and Judy harvested the Alpines and Succulents from the four- tiered planters in the Station Concourse ready to pop them into the Rockery on the bank in the Sensory Garden during Sunday’s workparty.
We saved about 75 plants which will nicely fill a good number of cracks and spaces in the rocks. The planters are being refreshed for the summer months next week.
Then the Sunday workparty met at the Sensory Garden Rockery, to rehome the harvested plants.
Thanks to the plants, tools and bags delivery teams, the Alpine and Succulents planting team, the bindweed removal team, the watering team, the thistle and plantain pulling out team, the edging up team.
Oh yes….you 11 volunteers today were all these things, combined into ONE GREAT TEAM!
