Rainbows packs have been planting with Exmouth in Bloom this week. 3rd Exmouth Rainbows met at the Station and walked along Marine Way carrying the plants to add a splash of summer colour to the boat Gertrude. They listened and learnt how to take plants out of their pots correctly, placed them, then planted. What a splendid job they did. Well done and thank you to them all and their adult helpers. They throughly deserved their iced lollies at the end!
Then it was the turn of 1st Withycombe Rainbows to help Exmouth in Bloom plantthe next day. Their mission was to plant the two old concrete planters and three reservoir troughs on the Station platform.
Another excellent session with lovely responsive children who will be proud watch their plants grow and show their families.
