A few random photos here….. our various Blue Teams are still busy with weeding pavers, cobbles, paths and gutters and tidying overgrown areas where bindweed, brambles and ‘sticky’ weed have threatened to smother planted areas. Weve done some chopping back of ground cover perennial geraniums too which we hope will regenerate by Judging days. Thanks to all the EDDC Streetscene operatives who have picked up the mountains of gardening waste and recycled our blue bags ready for re-collection. Add to this a spot of fundraising in the Community at The Repair Cafe and a Social ‘cuppa’ and catch up with non-gardening volunteers, at one of the many cafes who support us in town and there you have it…….a week in the life of an EiB volunteer!
