The Exmouth in Bloom volunteer force are always recognisable by their blue tops and high viz jackets. We are also known as the ‘Bottoms up Brigade’ (can’t guess why!).
We have a lot of fun whilst we work and have some real characters among us. Jenny (centre) is one of these and has just had her 85th birthday! She not only adds her natural glamour to our group but always keeps us smiling, no matter what…… note the bottle in her hand…..!!!!!
She may be a little ‘potty’ at times!
Jenny swims in the sea every morning at 7 am, Summer and Winter. Perhaps this is the secret to her looking so young! She always has a smile for everyone and loves to laugh.

She is never afraid of hard graft or to get stuck in with sweeping, painting, planting, weeding , pruning, watering or whatever job is needed …… Jenny is a wonderful team member who is welcoming to everyone and much loved by us all.
Jenny loves to help man our fundraising stalls and could even sell ice-cream to Eskimos if she had to!
