Exmouth in Bloom committee members were joined by representatives from EDDC Streetscene at the Britain in Bloom South West Awards day in Yeovil last week. Exmouth was assessed back in July by judges Christine Fraser and Derek Beer and the results have been eagerly anticipated since then.
We are very pleased to tell you that we not only achieved GOLD again but were thrilled to be awarded the ST. BRIDGET CUP for being the best town in our category. In addition we were nominated for the best Portfolio (available to view on this website) and best Website. We are also enormously proud to say that we won the ART IN THE LANDSCAPE trophy for our incredible SWAN PROJECT, which has reflected true community spirit. We would like to give heartfelt thanks to the Town Council, Town and Tourism Team, Streetscene, the generosity of our sponsors, in particular Kings Garden and Leisure, our supporters and our wonderful band of volunteers who made all of this possible.
