We Bloomers got together earlier this week, in memory of our dear friend and President of Exmouth in Bloom, Sharon, who died of MND.
Sharon never wanted a fuss but we arranged for her brother, sister in law and granddaughter to add two Rose of Sharon (Hypernicum) plants and an Hibiscus ( Rhapsody) to our new rockery planting in the Sensory Garden.
Gerry organised fizz and eat treats and along with the Town Crier and Deputy Mayor Steve, gave fitting tributes and proposed a toast to Sharon, such a wonderful brave lady.
