Following the planting of specimen trees and hundreds of plants, many of which were donated, we had 50 bags of soil improver / mulch delivered. Some re-planting of suitable plants from our tiered towers’ winter displays, took place after a weeding blitz on the old Rockery at the back of the Sensory Garden and Mike Hole finished off the last wooden seat. With this warm wet weather the whole garden is beginning to thrive and flower, ready for the Grand Opening on July 12th.
