27.09.20. End of the month work party in the sunshine.

A work party of 8 welcomed new volunteer Doreen, who moved to Exmouth a year ago and because of Covid has not been able to pursue her usual clubs and activities, so joining Exmouth in Bloom has been a start point for her as we work in the fresh air and can maintain social distancing. We tackled areas which are not planted with annual summer bedding, (these will be dealt with in early October before our Winter plants arrive), cutting off the Agapanthus seed heads and the dead spears from the Torbay Palms and phormiums. All looking tidy now.

Wonderful sunshine made it a double joy to be out gardening in the town.
