27.04.25: Sensory Garden Spring tidy.

What a wonderful day for a workparty. The early mist evaporated into the sunniest, warmest blue sky morning and 14 of us tackled the Sensory Garden. The  self – set wild flowers are coming up fast  as are unwanted thistles, fleabane and plantain  which we pulled out today. Bill edged up, Les did a once over with his mower, having run it round  the Wavy bed en route. What a star he is!

Graham has augmented the bed under the mural with some new pollinator friendly flower seed and Peter sowed some seed donated  to us by EDDC  under the wall on the seafront side today.

Everywhere, including the Rockery is flourishing.

We welcomed  Eileen and Brian again and a new volunteer Richarde.

Thank you everyone as always who helped make the difference today. Woohoo!
