Liz, Val, Sheila and Marion joined the Big Clean in town this morning. Starting in the Station area we litter picked our way along to the Strand and into the Magnolia Centre. Can’t believe just how many glasses, bottles, ( including an almost full bottle of Vodka), cigarette paraphernalia and how much food packaging there was. Plus some stranger items…. hair extensions, 3 not matching gloves, a sock and a pair of knickers! After nearly two hours we were getting weary so recycled the glass bottles and cans in the bins and finished up with a cuppa and a piece of Poppy’s home made tea bread at Postcards! Everywhere was spotless of litter for a few moments….. Come on Exmouth, let’s keep it that way.
