This year Exmouth in Bloom have been looking to boost up the planting in the Dinosaur paddocks to add more colour during the summer months. We have already moved some of the agapanthus forwards and popped in some home grown osteospurmums to replace plants lost in the Winter months.
EDDC’s Russell Gibblet gave us some plants this week which we have tucked in amongst the current planting today. We now look forward to some colour themed areas during the Summer.
A big bonus was that water was on hand close by, at the new waterbutt, installed by Exmouth Town Council, in the Strand.
Thanks to the great team who helped today. Lots of weeding before planting was required and special thanks to Liz who single-handedly sorted out and weeded the Buddliea bed ready for woodchip to go down tomorrow.
NB. the No Mow May policy is taking its toll on this area. Grass is knee deep in places!
