What a completely wonderful tour EiB gave the SW in Bloom Judges yesterday. Everything looked at its best thanks to the extra huge effort made in the last few weeks. It was a mountain of backbreaking graft to climb especially getting road and pavement weeds cleared. Why do we do it??? ……. because we love Exmouth and the difference we can make to the town.
The flowers looked stunning and vibrant, set off by wonderful murals and the Sensory Garden, the Wavy bed and the Swan certainly looked fabulous. The Judges understand that the wild flowers
, which were at their blooming best on mid June, have to die down and seet seed, but we took photos and ‘planted’ them for reference!
The wonderful reception and lunch at Sun Lodge brought everyone together to celebrate at the end.
Thank you Team Exmouth in Bloom. Time for a well earned rest for a couple of weeks before we are all back in action again,,,, though I suspect Mike will be busy watering in this hot weather!
