Super morning for the work party today and 16 volunteers including new recruit Liam turned up to give the Dinosaur beds a spruce up and tidy. First job was to collect all the rubbish that had been thrown into the shrubs and grasses. 4 sacks of cans, bottles, glass and plastic of all shapes and sizes with some still full of some sort of liquid ( who knows what exactly), a t-shirt, various shaped glasses, suitably recycled at Wetherspoons ( thank you) Leaves all raked up, Pheasant grasses de- seeded, borders weeded and edged and a well-deserved cuppa and social catch up at the end. Well done and thanks to everyone who helped today.
