A lovely compliment!
When we were watering one evening recently a man stopped by to say that he was an NHS first responder and during COVID he was very down in spirits due to the strangeness of lockdown with the streets all empty.
HOWEVER…THE GOOD BIT- he said the flowers in Exmouth were his saviour. The fact that people like us were doing what we do throughout COVID and the uplift that he got from seeing the bright flowers was a lifesaver to his mental wellbeing.
He covered a large area in his job and commented that only Exmouth looked welcoming. Here are a few photos of the displays at the time, including our rainbow of flowers thanking the NHS for their outstanding work.
He certainly lifted our spirits at 9pm that night!
