There is a patch of land just by Exmouth Rugby Club which overlooks the estuary. Gerry Bassett, Exmouth in Bloom’s Chairman had the idea that Exmouth in Bloom chould spruced it up. So with a weed and tidy and with help from EDDC who installed a wooden bench and re-sited the recyling container for us, it is now transformed. We have also had recycled wood holders made by Sean at The Strand Inn, to drop two un-used reservoir troughs into. These have been filled with colourful plants which makes it a very pleasant place to sit and watch the sun go down as the visitors to the town found, in the last photo!
