14.11.21: Remembrance Sunday wreath laid on behalf of Exmouth in Bloom.

Exmouth has very long standing and close contact with the Military being so close to the Royal Marine Training Headquarters at Lympstone, so Remembrance Sunday is always a big and well supported event as you can see from the photos. This year, our Chairman Gerry Bassett, (in the centre of the ariel photo wearing blue), proudly laid a wreath on the War Memorial, on behalf of Exmouth in Bloom.

As an aside, you may not know, that Exmouth was bombed in WW2 by German planes on their way to Exeter, leaving craters in the old town centre and destroying parts of  The Strand and the residential area known as The Colonies.
