We had a very busy morning deadheading and weeding all around the Station area, down Manchester Road and into the Dino paddocks. We finished up at Postcards Cafe for a bit of a celebration. We had ‘thank yous’ for Liz, retiring from looking after the Waterwheel pond, and Ali for retiring from being our Minutes Secretary. Also Carol made Bill a waistcoat (from ties he’d thrown out for recycling) for his 80th birthday. There was a lot of laughter!
As always, a huge thank you to the 16 volunteers who came to help today and well done to the Yarn Bombers with the Easter Bike decoration. Brilliant!
