Back in action again! First workparty of the year and 10 of us gave the Wavy bed a good tidy up. We cut off the dead flower spikes and picked up all the fallen spears from the Cordylines, clipped back the Coreopsis and Salvia Jamensis and edged up. Did a once over of the boats near the Station and then moved on to the Dino beds to deal with the Cana Lillies that have now died off.
A huge amount of bottles, cans and fast food boxes were collected from all the areas but the Triangle bed by the path from the Strand Inn to the Station and the Dino beds were the worst we have seen them for many months.
Although the weather was quite mild and there was no wind it was still nice to pop into Postcards for a hot cuppa and a catch up with those who could stay afterwards.
