A marvellous workparty of 16 including new volunteers Gillie and Paul arrived ready for action today. Elaine described it as a ‘Benny Hill moment’ as we whizzed through from the Station area to the Strand in 90 minutes. The tool trolley was invaluable with edgers, litter pickers, brooms and bags all on board and everyone’s secateurs and hand tools were red hot from deadheading and weeding. Station to Strand areas looking lovely and cared for again now. Great work from The Blue Team today and a well deserved coffee at the end.
