Last week EDDC’s Russel Giblett, who is in charge of Green Spaces in East Devon publicly thanked all those who had contributed to Exmouth’s Bloom campaign and judging day back in July, with a gathering in Manor Gardens Exmouth. There were representatives from Devon County Council, Exmouth Town Council, Plastic Free Exmouth, Exmouth Art Group, Littleham School, Lambeth Walk Local Community Project, Phear Park Tree Trail, and EDDC Streetscene as well as Exmouth in Bloom. Devon County Councillor, Jeff Trail and Exmouth Mayor, Steve Gazzard also gave thanks to everyone for the impressive way they had worked together to achieve the outstanding praise and awards from South West in Bloom this year and assured us of continuing support for our Britain in Bloom campaign for 2023.
Following the photoshoot in Manor Gardens Russell posted this lovely Volunteer Appreciation Post! ✨
“How fantastic are all of our wonderful volunteers? They do so much alongside our Streetscene team to keep our beautiful green spaces beautiful across East Devon 🌸 🌳
