A few committee members from Exmouth in Bloom attended the Macular Support Group meeting at The Wings Bar this morning and what a lovely morning it was. Gerry introduced Marion ( who gave the talk), Carol ( who is a member of the group) and Elaine ( whose Mum lost her sight to Macular degeneration disease ). We also ran a small fundraising stall with a selection of Preserves, Calendars, Crafts and a few Pride of Exmouth geraniums. We had 7 new ‘Friends’ of Exmouth in Bloom sign up to join us from the group.
It was so lovely to attend the meeting and thank you to Tina and to the members for your appreciation, support and hospitality today.
