01.05.23: Wild flowers doing well in the Sensory Garden

17 super workers arrived at  our favourite place to work ….the Sensory Garden, this morning. Gillie refreshed  the seat paintings and we generated 14 bags of ‘ plants in the wrong place’ from the borders.  Sadly a few  veg plants have fallen casualty  to snails  or possibly pigeons. The wild flowers , self set from last year in the long borders, are  flourishing and will be a riot of colour in the next couple of weeks. We plan to augment these borders  with a new mix soon to try to prolong the flowering period into late July when the National Britain in Bloom Judges will be visiting us.  Garden looking super good and much loved!  Thank you to everyone who helped today. The garden looks wonderful and much loved.
