Enthusiastic children from two local schools, who entered the Exmouth in Bloom gardening competition in July, were recently rewarded for their efforts at a Presentation hosted at and sponsored once again by Kings Garden and Leisure.
Best garden overall and Best wildlife garden categories were won by Marpool Primary School and the Best vegetable garden was won by Littleham C of E Primary school. Congratulations to all who entered.
Teachers, helpers, friends and Exmouth in Bloom volunteers applauded as the children received vouchers, wonderful boxes of gardening goodies and items to encourage birds, wildlife and mini beasts, generously donated by Kings and Birds and Bees. The children were praised for their hard work and enthusiasm by Gerry Bassett, chair of Exmouth in Bloom who presented the schools with certificates and also thanked Kings Garden and Leisure, Exmouth, for hosting the event.
