Due to a leak, the water level in the pond at the Waterwheel is now at an all time low! Although repairs are imminent, the pond life is only just managing to cling on, so Exmouth in Bloom have looked for an interim solution. Our expert Liz, from Devon Wildlife Garden came to help and advise us about relocating the creatures to Phear Park pond, but much as we tried the tadpoles refused to be caught. So the Imperial Hotel stepped in with a water supply and more water was put back as a temporary measure, along with a bucket of water with a rock in for birds to perch and drink from. Another crisis averted today thanks to wonderful community effort.
