Back in December at our Pop-up shop in Marks and Spencer’s foyer, we were approached by a young man, named Charlie, from St Joseph’s RC Primary School, Exmouth. He was after a bit of advice and help on how to get a gardening project off the ground at his school. When we knew some new planters were earmarked for the Magnolia CentreĀ we asked the Parks Dept and Streetscene if the old planters could perhaps go to the school. The Head Teacher was consulted and three of the planters in the best condition are now in situ in the playground with different classes allocated to looking after them. We look forward to seeing the results of their gardening skills later on in the year.
Well done Charlie!
Many thanks to Streetscene for delivering the planters and especially to Andy for his precision tractor driving skills…….. it was a very tight fit!!
