A full afternoon of judging followed for Jim Collins. We met Sharon Scott and Lorna Christo from the Parks Department, along with Pete and Andy who are part of the Streetscene team and responsible for horticulture. Jim was shown around Manor Gardens which looked wonderful with its bright and clashing ‘Bollywood’ themed planting and baskets, the purple shades of the lavender and agapanthus borders, the Knot Gardens filled with sensory and wild flowers, and the beautiful trees. Finally the beds planted by two schools, with a Glenn Miller music theme. Here are some photos.
