The South West in Bloom Spring Seminar was held at The Imperial Hotel, Torquay recently. The speakers, Allison Herbert from the Bath BID group, Anna Forbes from Action for the River Kennet (ARK), Stephanie Purser from the Friends of Page Park (Bristol) were absolutely inspiring and we were treated to a completely fascinating talk in the afternoon, from Mark Wasilewski who has worked for many years in the Royal Parks in London.
Presentation of the South West in Bloom, Best Parks pride in Parks Awards followed and we are thrilled to tell you that Phear Park achieved an excellent 4 star rating and Manor Gardens the top 5 star award.
